  • How long can I have my skip bin for?

Our casual hire skip bins include a maximum of 4 days hire.  But if you need your skip bin for longer then please call us and we will be happy to arrange this.

We can also offer a wait and load service, but this needs to be pre-arranged with our office.

  • What can I put in my skip bin?

You can put all general household waste and building materials such as wood, tiles, plaster, furniture and clothes, and green waste in our skip bins.  We supply special bins for hard fill - soil, concrete, rocks and sand.   We are also specialists at dealing with hazardous waste.

  • What can't I put in my skip bin?

We can't accept hazardous waste in a normal skip bin.  Hazardous waste such as asbestos, chemicals, paint and glue, gas cylinders, batteries, explosives, oil of any kind, animal waste, laptops and tyres.  If you have some waste that you can't put in the skip we are happy to advise how best to dispose of it.

  • What level can I fill my skip bin to?

All rubbish must be inside the bin and must not flow over the top.  This is to ensure safety when in transport and loading onto our truck.

Due to health and safety regulations our drivers are unable to collect bins that are filled above the top.

  • How big does my skip bin need to be?

Our skip bins range from 2m2 to 30m2.  Check out our size chart to help you identify how big your skip bin needs to be.

  • Where am I allowed to put a skip bin?

If you put your skip bin on your property you don't need to have a permit.  However if you need to put your skip bin on a grass verge or the roadway you need to apply for permission.  You will need to obtain a permit from your local Council.

  • What is the best location for my skip bin?

When considering where to put your bin please consider the following:

    • The delivery truck needs to be able to deliver and collect your bin.  Our drivers are expert at narrow driveways and complicated drops, but please call us to discuss if you are unsure.
    • You need to be able to fill the bin!
    • If you are not able to put the bin on your property please read the previous question.
